I still love the song “money, money, money, must be funny in a rich man’s world”
Money is that dreaded thing that we all need, especially for keeping our parish going. We don’t get any other support than what we raise. We don’t get funds from the diocese, in fact we need to raise money for ourselves and for the Diocese so that we can have Bishops to support us like His Grace and his auxiliaries.
Anyway, to try and help doing this we are going to try and embrace our Cashless society!
You will see that there is a device (Referred to as a DCP, that is a Digital Collation Plate!) where people can make their offerings by card. You will see there are the options for the 1st Offering that is our normal Sunday collection and an option for the Catholic Education Service which is this week’s second collection. And of course, this is an online giving portal which can easily be accessed on one’s phone via a QR code.
