SVP Parish Group Vice President Jane Clarke's Appeal
"Please help the SVP"

The parish SVP group is appealing to all parishioners for help. The St Vincent de Paul Society, or SVP for short, is a group of volunteer parishioners who set out to help anyone in need. They need your assistance now more than ever as people suffer terrible hardship as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. There are families short of food, lonely people who need a friend, homeless individuals and families, people struggling with financial hardship, or those facing illness. Join them and work with them to help in whatever way you can – whether it’s packing up food parcels, phoning someone for a chat, or giving someone a lift to the doctor.  In addition, if you could make a donation that would also be a huge help. Our Bank Account number is 46082948 and sort code is 60-60-04.
Please help – the need now is greater than ever. Thank you.
If you would like to find out more about being a volunteer member of the SVP, please call Mike Weaver on 07423 541124 or speak to Father Stefan, Jane Clarke, Roy Williams or Kevin Sables.
“Christ has no body now on earth but yours. No hands but yours, no feet but yours. Yours are the hands by which he is to bless us now.” St Teresa of Avilla.
